Built a tech solution at MVP stage that tackles a real issue in the community? If you’re looking to scale your impact for public good, we invite you to apply for the Build for Good Accelerator.

What is the Build for Good Accelerator?

Since 2024, the Build for Good Accelerator supports promising tech solutions at MVP stage from our Community Hackathon to launch and scale so as to benefit the public. We provide funding, mentoring, and partnership networks so teams can be further empowered to scale solutions that tackles problems faced by citizens.

How to join the Build for Good Accelerator?

There are 2 ways to do so:

1. New teams (Applications are now open)

If your team did not participate the Community Hackathon but have already built your MVP with some real users, do join our accelerator!

We’re selecting 3 teams that have already built and established their MVPs, and looking to sharpen their solutions and scale their impact to be part of the accelerator programme. If your tech solution address a real problem faced by citizens and you are ready to grow it further, this track is for you.

2. 5 Winning teams from the Community Hackathon (In progress)

If your team is one of the five winning teams from the 2025 Build for Good Community Hackathon, you will automatically be offered a place in the accelerator, as your MVPs have already shown strong public good impact, feasibility, usability and innovation through the month-long hackathon process.

What we provide

Selected teams from both tracks will receive:

• Up to $20,000 funding

• Mentorship by industry and public sector experts

• Product workshops

• Support to connect with partners or run pilot trials

Note: This programme is only applicable for solutions that are non-commercial and primarily aim to benefit the public.

Who can apply (New teams track)

We’re looking for teams of 2 to 5 people who meet the following criteria:

1. Built an MVP that tackles a real problem faced by citizens

2. Your MVP has gained some traction but with fewer than 100 active users

3. You are committed to growing your solution to benefit more people

4. You are exploring partnerships or pilot opportunities to test your idea further

Shortlisted applicants will need to attend an in-person interview as part of the selection process.

Programme details

• Programme dates: Saturdays, 19 July – 6 September 2025

• Format: Hybrid; Mix of in-person and online sessions

Application timeline

1. Application period: Now until 22 June 2025, 11:59pm

2. Shortlisting and interviews: Applicants will be informed by 27 June 2025

3. Final results: All teams will be notified by 11 July 2025

Selected teams will join the accelerator starting 19 July 2025.

Things to Note

• Submitting an application does not guarantee a spot in the programme. We will select teams based on the strength of their MVP and commitment to public good

• We are looking for early-stage, non-commercial MVPs that are focused on solving real public challenges in Singapore
